Dr Liu Yuezhong is a Senior Research Fellow at the Ageing Research Institute for Society and Education, Nanyang Technological University. His research focuses on the employability of the ageing workforce, skill-based job mobility, and the application of data science to understand complex relationships among people, sectors, and systems. He brings interdisciplinary expertise in geospatial data science and workforce development. He has managed and contributed to projects on skillsets mapping and workforce transitions across key sectors in Singapore, including retail, food services, precision engineering, air transport, and healthcare. His work examines how mid-career and older workers can be better supported to remain employable, adaptable, and resilient amid changing labour-market conditions.
